W. Schumann: The Complete Published Symphonies" The complete "Published Symphonies" of the great American composer William Schumann (1910-1992), who celebrated the 100th anniversary of his birth in 2010, is now available as a 5-CD set. Since Nos. 1 and 2 were discarded, a total of 8 symphonies from Nos. 3 to 10 are included. In his early years, he wrote popular music, but after hearing Toscanini & the New York Philharmonic in 1930, he decided to become a professional composer, dropped out of college, and began studying composition privately. As a composer, he has left behind quite a number of works, and is popular among brass band fans as well, and is a composer who cannot be missed when learning about contemporary American music. The well-known orchestral arrangement of Ives' "Variations on 'America'" is also included.
