Jazz Sabbath is a band that, like Black Sabbath, was set to release an album on February 13, 1970. Milton Keynes, the supposed central figure, is actually Adam Wakeman, son of Rick Wakeman, who played keyboards and guitar in Black Sabbath and the Ozzy Osbourne Band. His undercover project, Jazz Sabbath, has released its self-titled debut album. The setup claims that Black Sabbath stole their songs and released metal versions. Formed in 1968, Jazz Sabbath was considered at the time to be at the forefront of the new jazz movement in England, according to a press release. They were scheduled to release their self-titled debut album on February 13, 1970, but that release was canceled when the band's leader, pianist Milton Keene, was hospitalized with a heart attack.When Milton left the hospital in September 1970, he learned that a Birmingham band called Black Sabbath had released two albums containing supposedly heavy metal versions of his songs, but the Jazz Sabbath albums were all destroyed in a warehouse fire in June 1970. All of Jazz Sabbath's albums were destroyed in a warehouse fire in June 1970, leaving only a handful of bootleg tapes of live performances as proof of Jazz Sabbath's existence. The master tapes, thought to have been lost in the fire, were discovered in 2019, and Jazz Sabbath's music finally saw the light of day. It proves that the heavy metal band adored by millions is, in fact, a musical fraud, stealing music from a bedridden, hospitalized genius.
