In Japan, he is a popular singer among soft rock fans.He is also known for his numerous television jingles (a generic term for short pieces of music that are inserted at the beginning or end of a commercial, or at the beginning or end of a song, or at the transition of a song or section in a television or radio program) for companies such as American Airlines, Coca-Cola, and McDonald's. He has also produced a number of jingles for TV programs, such as "The Coca-Cola Show. The new 2020 album "Ron Dante's Funhouse" is a 2-CD set containing 45 Ron Dante-related tracks, many of which are previously unreleased recordings by the Arches.
