Here comes the '22 work of Andrew Wasiliuk, a Scottish musician with a growing fan base for his sound that seems to be a fusion of ambient, spiritual jazz, chamber music, and library music. The starting point for the production of this work was a commission from the exhibition "The World'sEdge" by contemporary American landscape photographer Thomas Joshua Cooper at the National Gallery of Scotland. Cooper's 30-year journey between the five continents captured a variety of locations, from the baselines surrounding the Atlantic Ocean to remote frontiers, many of which will be under water within 35 years due to global warming and other climate changes. This time Andrew traveled with Cooper to Inchcombe Island in the Firth of Forth to accompany the filming. The ideas behind Cooper's work, from the deep fascination of the sea to the symbolism and folklore of flowers, dreams of leaving and longing to stay, were the inspiration for the production of this film.Beginning with the opening track featuring saxophonist Alabaster Deplume, whose exotic and nostalgic sound has garnered much attention, the more you listen to the album, the more immersed you become in its ephemeral and beautiful soundscape, which grows even deeper, making you feel as if you are looking at an endless landscape and an ocean with no horizon. It makes you feel as if you are looking at an ocean with no horizon and endless landscapes. Recommended for fans of ambient and post-classical music.
