The project is a collaboration between Volker Hemken, a clarinetist with Gewandhausorchester Leipzig, one of the oldest symphony orchestras in the world, Kiki Hitomi, a former member of King Midas Sound, known for her work with HYPERDUB and NINJA TUNE, who now plays with WaqWaq Cosmic Threat is a collaborative project between Volker Hemken, clarinetist, and Kiki Hitomi, who is now a member of King Midas Sound, known for her work with HYPERDUB and NINJA TUNE, and Jahtari label mainstay Disrupt. The six tracks explore the psychedelic layering of sessions in Leipzig and the freeform territory that spins Sun Ra and Prince Jammy.
