Miraculous collaboration with unique musicians! This is the long-awaited piano trio album by Hori Hideaki, his first in 10 years since 2014. As the title "New Directions" suggests, this album is filled with many new musical directions for Hori Hidesaki, which come from the personalities of Ryoji Orihara and Hidenobu "Carta" Ootsuki. This is the first time Hori has performed with electric bass among his 23 previous albums as a leader. All of the self-covered songs have been newly arranged for this ambitious work. This work is truly the culmination of Hideaki Hori's current piano and music, and will continue to expand from here from multiple angles.
