Tomas Dausgaard is a Danish conductor who served as Principal Conductor of the Swedish Chamber Orchestra from 1997 to 2019, as well as Chief Conductor of the Danish National Symphony Orchestra (2004-2011), and is currently Principal Conductor of the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra and Music He is currently Chief Conductor of the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra and Music Director of the Seattle Symphony Orchestra. His creative and innovative performances captivate audiences. In this release, he performs his specialty, Nielsen's Symphonies No. 1 and No. 2, which have already been released as Symphony No. 3.
