Of course, even before that, the social situation was unstable and people's hearts were in turmoil. This album contains three works for violin and orchestra composed in that year, and it is a unique album that explores the feelings of these three composers: Walton with his hidden anxiety, Hartmann with his sorrowful expression and anger, and Bartók with his high singing of nationalistic elements.
