Burning Witches is an all-female heavy metal band representing Switzerland. Their formation dates back to 2015, and they debuted in 2005 with an album bearing the band's name. The band is a member of the Destruction family, as evidenced by the fact that this album was produced and mixed by Schmierer of Destruction and V.O. Pulver, formerly of Poltergeist. The band continued to release albums in rapid succession with "Hexenhammer" (2006), "Dance with the Devil" (2008), and "The Witch of the North" (2009). The Witch of the North" reached No. 6 on the national chart in Switzerland. The Dark Tower", their fifth album, has just been released.This is the first release after moving home from Nuclear Blast to Napalm, Austria.
