Furtwängler+Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra Swedish Broadcasting Company's Complete Recordings! First release with the approval of the broadcaster and the orchestra! Furtwängler was a frequent visitor to Stockholm, Sweden. He led the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra on one occasion and made guest appearances with the Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra on another occasion. Now, the complete surviving recordings of Furtwängler with the Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra are available for the first time, courtesy of the Swedish Radio Archive and with the approval of the Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra. The "Ninth," synonymous with Furtwängler, was performed in Stockholm alone in December 1943, a difficult time of year. The frenzied chorus seems to be filled with some special emotion. The Beethoven Pro, Symphonies No. 8 and No. 7 were guest performances after the war. The energetic Furtwängler played with a free and unrestrained style, as if he was passing on his secrets to the Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra. The "German Requiem" is the only complete recording of the master's complete works, and is renowned as a miraculous masterpiece of sublime and burning passion. Strauss's "Don Juan" and Wagner's "Tristan" are superb, with Furtwängler's strong narrative and undulating romance, which is typical of the master storyteller and storyteller. The Overture No. 3 to "Leonore" is a true "Art is an Explosion! The overture to "Leonore" No. 3 is a true example of the "art is an explosion! The very detailed and energetic rehearsal is also a must-listen.Although some of the recordings have been released on CD from authorized sources in the past, there were many problems with the initial mastering of the CD, such as excessive echoes, so this release is nothing but good news.
