The 30th anniversary edition of the most pop and glamorous hit in Priest's history! Priest's 10th album was released in April 1986, when the band was at the peak of its popularity, having won the U.S. with "Cries for Vengeance" in 1982, followed by "Immoral Laws" in 1984, which secured the band's position as heavy metal champions. It was a Top 20 hit in the U.S. and went platinum. The album was controversial among fans of the traditional metal sound because of its bold introduction of guitar synthesizers, which had been a model of British heavy metal up to that point. However, despite the controversy, the modernization of the album by skillfully incorporating the trends of MTV, the most important media at the time, and the US rock scene was successful, and it is an important work that succeeded in gaining popularity more widely. It can be said that the band was able to survive the rise of flashy, glittering, pop-oriented LA metal in the latter half of the 1980s because of this album. Popular songs from this album are "Turbo Lover" and "Locked In. The catchy melody of "Turbo Lover" has made it a standard chorus song.
