Description:
Hoteigeki" is a puppet play that has been enjoyed by children and adults alike, and is said to be so popular in Taiwan that "there is no one who does not know about it. Nitroplus "Gen UROBUCHI", who has fallen in love with the Hoteigeki, is in charge of drafting, writing, and supervising the production, which is a miraculous collaboration with the production company "Boltokawa International Multimedia Company", the most famous and high-quality production company in Taiwan. The characters are designed by a team of designers led by Nitroplus. The figure maker Good Smile Company will participate in the project as a puppet sculpting advisor. Hiroyuki Sawano, who has worked on dramas, animations, and movies, and has provided music for many artists, will produce the music for the drama. The first season began airing on July 8, 2016 (Friday) and has been well received not only in Japan and Taiwan, but also in other Asian countries. A sequel is also in the works.This film is a further development of the "Thunderbolt Fantasy Project," a film adaptation of the novel "Thunderbolt Fantasy: Toureki Jien-Yuki Gaiden," which is a prequel to the first season, and a new episode written by Gen Urobuchi as a postquel, "Kakimusyo Hen. The film adaptation of the story is a combination of the novel "Thunderbolt Fantasy: The Tōhoku Jienyuki Gaiden" and a new episode "The Tōhoku Jienyuki Arc" written by Gen Urobuchi. As in the first season, Hiroyuki Sawano was in charge of the theatrical accompaniment. The theme song "RAIMEI (Chinese ver.)" was sung by Takanori Nishikawa of T.M.Revolution, his first attempt at singing in Chinese. Miwa Iwanami was in charge of sound direction. Special booklet, drama CD, and postcards are included. The three-way back box with a digipak illustrated by Nitroplus is included.
