The only one time visit to Japan, live performance in Tokyo! This live performance was once released by Shinseido, but disappeared from the market for a long time. This time, it has been remastered from TBS Radio's own recordings and is now available with commentary by Ginji Yamane from the December 11 broadcast. The Barilli Quartet, composed of members of the Vienna Philharmonic, dominated the monaural LP era. This live recording was made during their only visit to Japan, when they gave a public performance for broadcast at the Radio Tokyo (now TBS) Hall. The recording was produced by Naomi Monma and broadcasted with commentary by Ginji Yamane. The unexaggerated and unadulterated expression and the lively atmosphere of the live performance can truly be described as "the taste of tradition and the essence of Vienna.
