Denise LaSalle, one of the most talented Southern Soul singers and songwriters since the 70's, joined Malaco in 1983 and released her first masterpiece "A Lady In The Street", followed by this album in 1985. The album is a work of uninhibited charm, and includes "Someone Else Is Steppin' In," known to Buddy Guy and ZZ Hill, as well as the zadigo-like single "My Tu-Tu," which reached No. 79 on the R&B charts. First CD release in Japan. Supervision by Shinichi Iwama (Super Cry Inc.). Includes commentary and uses the original jacket.
