Produced at MPO, a French pressing plant that Hyperion has trusted for many years, all vinyl records are produced by the Krieger brothers, renowned engineers at SST/Schallplatten Schneid Technik Brüggemann GmbH, a long-established cutting and mastering studio in Germany. The second release is a limited edition of 1,000 copies worldwide (140g black vinyl). The second release will include LP versions of Isserlis, Hough, Osborne, Takács String Quartet, and Jesualdo Six's masterpieces. The second Vinyl Edition of Stephen Hough, the leader of the British piano world, has been selected for the complete Saint-Saëns piano concertos recorded between 2000 and 2001, a super masterpiece that represents not only Hough but also Hyperion. In addition to the Piano Concertos No. 1 to No. 5, this 3LP set includes the "Complete Works for Piano and Orchestra", which won the Grand Prize (Recording of the Year) at the 2002 Gramophone Awards, and in 2008, the "Gramophone Award", a special prize established to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Gramophone Awards. It was also selected for the Gramophone Gold Disc Award, a special prize established in 2008 to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Gramophone Awards, and was honored as one of the best recordings to have received the Gramophone Award in the past 30 years.
