Ruggiero Ricci (1918-2012) was an Italian-American violinist who was called "born Paganini. He was trained by his father, an amateur violinist, and studied with Lewis Persinger and Elizabeth Lackay from the age of seven. Her natural musical talent quickly blossomed, and at the age of 10 she gave her first performance in California, followed the next year by a performance of Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto at Carnegie Hall. In the 1930s, Rich took the advice of Fritz Kreisler and moved to Berlin, where he was trained by Georg Kuhlenkamp and Michel Piastro, and developed a broader and stronger range of expression and his own highly individual style. He established his own highly individual style.Rich's second Bach session recording was made in 1981 at St. George the Martyr Church in London.
