The concert, which began in 1939 and boasts a history of more than 75 years, features the iconic Viennese family waltzes and polkas, the symbol of the city of music, and the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra's New Year's Concert. The concert features waltzes and polkas by the Strauss family, the symbols of Vienna, the city of music. In 2025, the 200th anniversary of the birth of Johann Strauss II, Riccardo Muti, a world-famous master of classical music, will appear for the seventh time after four years since 2021, when he performed at the Corona Disaster without an audience. The New Year's concert at the New York Philharmonic Orchestra's New Year's Concert Series will be highly anticipated. In addition to the standard pieces such as "The Beautiful Blue Danube" and "Racoczi March," the program includes a waltz by Constanze Geiger, a female composer active in the 19th century.
