To coincide with the release of the definitive edition of their 3rd album "Low-Life", which further clarified their essence as New Order, a 12" analog single released on FACTORY RECORDS between 1985 and 1985 is also available! This is "SHELLSHOCK", a song from the soundtrack of the movie "Pretty in Pink/Lovers' Street Corner", which was released as a single in March 1986! ◆New Order, one of the most important groups representing the British music scene in the 1980s.They completely broke free from the spell of Joy Division with their 1983 album "POWER, CORRUPTION & LIES" and presented their own new aesthetic, and now they have completed their musical transition from Joy Division to New Order with their 1985 album "LOW-LIFE", released on FACTORY RECORDS from 1985 to 1986. In conjunction with the release of the definitive edition of "LIFE," the three 12-inch single analogs they released on FACTORY RECORDS between 1985 and 1986 will be reissued! SHELLSHOCK. The song is said to have been vaguely influenced by the 1983 R&B hit "One More Shot". The music video for the song includes a song called "One More Shot". The music video for the song featured footage of the band performing in Japan in 1985, as well as scenes from the Shinkansen bullet train. The song reached #28 on the U.K. Singles Chart.
