The Et'cetera debut recording by young female Belgian violinist Iska Lamprecht features chamber works by Robert & Clara Schumann, Brahms, and Mortelmans, all composers who lived in the same era. Lamprecht began playing the violin at the age of six and studied at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp and the Zurich University of the Arts with Ilya Gringolts. As first violinist of the Tulikum String Quartet, she won second prize (without first prize) at the Karol Szymanowski International Music Competition in Poland in 2023. This season she made her debut at the Tonhalle in Zurich, where she performed with the prestigious Gringolts Quartet. She is also a recipient of the Marguerite Meister Foundation Prize, the SWUK Flanders Foundation's 2024 Award, and the Kiwanis Music Prize with the Tulikum String Quartet. Tokyo M-Plus
