Description:

Salvatore Lanzetti (c.1710-c.1780) was an active cellist. A virtuoso player, Lanzetti contributed to the development of cello playing techniques by perfecting several new techniques. Claudio Ronco became the solo cellist of the Klemencic Consort (Clemencic Consort) in 1980, and also played with Ensemble 415 and Esperion XX. Furthermore, he is one of the leading figures in Italian ancient music today, regularly invited by the Seville Festival of Ancient Music and other prominent European ancient music festivals. Currently, he is actively engaged in concerts and recordings as a husband and wife duo with Emanuela Vozza, who he met in 2001 as principal cellist at the Ansambu DSG and Rusan Petronio Capella Musicale in Bologna.
