A collection of songs composed by renowned pianist Wilhelm Kemp. From his youth, Kemp demonstrated his abundant talents not only as a pianist and composer, but also as an organist. As a composer, he is said to have composed at least 200 works, including symphonies, chamber music, stage music, and songs, many of which were unfortunately destroyed by fire. This album contains some of his works that survived the fire, mainly based on poems by Goethe and C.F. Meyer. Tokyo M-Plus
