A collection of works by Swedish composer Helena Munchter! SACD hybrid disc. Helena Munkte (1852-1919) was born in Görksbör, Dalarna, Sweden. She studied at the Stockholm Conservatory (now the Royal College of Music in Stockholm) with Ludwig Norman and others who studied at the Leipzig Conservatory, Julius Epstein in Vienna, Banjaman Godard and Vincent d'Indy in Paris, and made her debut as a composer in Sweden in 1885. This is the first collection of Munchtel's works to be produced on the BIS label.
