The album features Clive Nolan, a keyboard player representing the British pump/melodic rock scene who has played with PENDRAGON, ARENA, and others; Laura Piazzai, a female vocalist from Italy whose collaboration with Clive Nolan in 2007 is still fresh in our minds; Eric Bouillette, a guitarist/composer who has played with bands such as The Room and Nine Skies, one of the leading bands in the British melodic rock scene in the '10s; and other great artists. This concept work depicts the turbulent history of the Medici family, who rose to prominence as bankers and politicians in Florence, Italy during the Renaissance. Each member of the band takes on the role of a character from the Medici family, and the dramatic history of the Medici family is depicted with an impressive soundtrack.
