This is the only work Errol Garner composed for film (released in the U.S. on Mercury), and it is not a soundtrack, but a re-recorded studio performance with a full orchestra conducted by Rhys Stevens, just as in the film. As in the film, the recording is accompanied by a full orchestra conducted by Rhys Stevens. Garner wrote the theme song and several other songs for the film, and even orchestrated the orchestration of these and several other standards. Frank Sinatra sings the theme song in the film. Frank Sinatra sang the theme song in the film, but all of the songs here are instrumental numbers, and Garner plays them stylishly backed by a graceful and light full orchestra that he arranged himself. The orchestra includes Alvin Stoller (ds) and Bernie Kessel (g). The previously unreleased track added to this release is a trio version of "Paris Mist," which was written for the film.
