Crosby, Stills & Nash was already a supergroup by the time they appeared at Woodstock, consisting of David Crosby, formerly of the Byrds, Stephen Stills, formerly of Buffalo Springfield, and Graham Nash, formerly of the Hollies. Their memorable debut album, "Suite: Judy of the Blue Eyes" by Stephen Stills, said to be a song about Judy Collins, and the light pop tune "Express to Marrakech" by Graham Nash, were single hits that won them a Grammy Award for Best Newcomer in 1969.
