During the post-rock boom of the 1990s and 2000s, a subgenre called "mass rock" emerged with a trademark of technicality and unpredictable development, and a tendency to explode in all directions. The leaders of both Don Caballero and El Ten Eleven, Damon Choi and Christian Dunn, who were at the center of this subgenre, have formed a new unit, Yesness, and released their debut album "SEE YOU AT THE SOLIPSIST CONVENTION" on the JOYFUL NOISE label. Damon and Christian met through the owner of JOYFUL NOISE in April 2023. They began exchanging sketches of songs and soon began an e-mail rally. After an album's worth of songs were compiled, they met up in the studio and recorded this album with SSW Kishi Bashi as a guest.The artistry of drumming that can only be found in the Don Caballero era's intelligent and wildly used and expanded daemons, and Christian's scenic bass that gave birth to El Ten Eleven's gun-scape-changing arrangements, create a chemical reaction that is hard to believe that this is their first match! This is an opportunity to experience the aggressiveness and craftsmanship of these two musicians, who will captivate everyone from the post/math rock lovers of "Not So Sorry Now Are You?" to the more recent Black Country New Road lovers!
