The Gould Piano Trio has a history of more than 25 years. The six "Piano Trios" previously released on Quartz (Quartz), the "Horn Trio" and "Clarinet Trio" with David Pyatt on horn and Robert Plain on clarinet, and the newly recorded "Piano Quartet" and Kirchner's newly released in 2016 Brahms' Chamber Works with Piano BOX is now complete with the "String Sextet", a piano trio version of the piano trio arranged by Brahms! The sense of unity of the ensemble, which has been cultivated over a long history, gives us a tasteful Brahms.
