After leaving Deep Purple, David Coverdale formed Whitesnake to pursue his own musical style, and the band is still active at the top of the HM/HR scene. The band's first live archive from the 1970s, the band's heyday, is finally being released as an album! After Deep Purple broke up and released two solo albums, David Coverdale formed his own band, Whitesnake. The album "Trouble" was released in October 1978, with Jon Lord of Deep Purple joining the band, and the band went on a 40-show UK tour called "Trouble Tour". The concert in Hanley, West Midlands on November 7 of the same year was recorded and broadcast for a BBC radio program. This live album is a complete recording of the concert and consists of the band's prologue mini-album "Snakebite", their debut album "Trouble", and songs from Deep Purple.Featuring two blues-tinged guitarists, Bernie Marsden and Mickey Moody, and Jon Lord on keyboards, the band delivers a live performance with a hard rock sound.
