In 2019, the 90th anniversary of his birth, the documentary film "Bill Evans - Time Remembered" was released in Japan for the first time in the world and became a hot topic of conversation. This album was recorded during his European tour from November to December 1979, when he performed at the Jazz Festival in Stuttgart, Germany, on December 3. The bass player is Mark Johnson, who had taken over the regular spot the year before, and the drummer is Joe LaBarbera, who was appointed as the fifth drummer in 1979 by a friend of Evans'.
