Originally released digitally in late 2021, Jonathan Richman's latest work is now available in physical format, and like his 2018 release "SA," it is co-produced by Jonathan's wife Nicole Montalbano and Jerry Harrison, an old friend from his Modern Lovers days. The album includes "Want To Visit My Inner House?" with its crisp guitar and mysterious ambient synths, "Me And Her And The Beach" with its four-strike kick and melancholy melody that would look great live, and the simple "Bossa Nova On The Street" that has the feel of a street dance. The simple "When She Is Walking Up The Street Towards Me" and the rock 'n' roll ditty "Sento, Sento," as only Jonathan can do, are all delivered with even more intensity than usual. Longtime bandmate Tommy Larkins joins on percussion for most of the songs, and the band ensemble, which includes Nicole (tambura) and Jerry (keyboards), is a unique family affair.
