Pink Floyd, one of the top bands not only in the progressive rock scene but also in the British rock scene, released their debut album in 1967, and since then they have continued to create unique albums with their original sound ideas and concepts. The band influenced many rock bands, and their 1973 release "Madness" was a worldwide hit, spending 741 weeks on the U.S. album charts and selling over 50 million copies. Under pressure from the mega-hit album "Madness," the band released the album "Wish You Were Here" in 1975, which reached No. 1 on the album charts in both the U.S. and U.K. (No. 4 in Japan as well).
