The Man" Omar, who has been a driving force of UK soul since the dawn of acid jazz, is back after 7 years! Although he has been in the business for 20 years, his sound/look has not aged at all! The same laid-back, constant style with the Moog is here again. The album's biggest topic is "TreatYou," a new recording by Caron Wheeler, aka "Voice of Soul II Soul" for the first time in many years! The album also features a reworking of the classic "There's Nothing Like This" with the help of Pino Palladino, who is also D'Angelo's right-hand man. While the original was in a nighttime mood, this time the song was performed in a fresh daytime atmosphere. The new "High Heels" with the Hidden Jazz Quartet, the German version of the Five Corners Quintet, is more "jazz" than the acid jazz period, and is also noteworthy.
