30th Anniversary Legendary techno unit O.M.Y. Reissued all at once. The legendary techno unit that Kraftwerk may or may not have thrown their hat into the ring and Deebo may or may not have praised. Oriental Magnetic Yellow. Formed by game music composers who were working at Namco at the time, O.M.Y.'s six hard-to-find albums will be remastered and reissued all together in 2024, the 30th anniversary of their formation. The first, "Sonic Skate Surveillance," with its synthesizers and mahjong table, is a serious piece that embodies the evolution of what might have been in this direction, with a modest parody of that band.
