This is the second installment of the legendary revival live show that brought Ornette Coleman back to the forefront of the jazz world. In "Snowflakes," Ornette performed for the first time on trumpet and violin, which he had mastered during his absence. In the ballad-like "Morning Song," the alto saxophone, now with an added beauty to its tone, emitted a bewitching atmosphere. In a turnaround, "The Riddle" was an intense and fiery performance. Eisenson's elaborate arco bass and Moffett's dynamic drums, which create free space, are also wonderful.
