To commemorate the 30th anniversary of his death, this is an encore pressing of the "The Art of Claudio Arrau" series released in 2011. Arrau is known as the highest authority in the interpretation of Beethoven's works. The "Diabelli Variations" is Arrau's second recording. It is an irreplaceable legacy of Arrau's career as a performer. This is a Japan-exclusive project. Recorded April 1985 at La Chaudefonds, Switzerland (digital recording)
