The mellow groove "Magic Night" composed by Tatsuro Yamashita is the best! Tatsuro Yamashita was present at the recording site, but did not participate in the performance or arrangement credits. This is the second album by Kumiko Hara, an authentic female singer influenced by jazz and soul. Many of the strongest musicians participate in this album, including Hiroki Inui (key, perc), Shuichi Murakami "Ponta" (ds), Ken Watanabe (b), Kenji Omura (g), Pecker (perc), Katsutoshi Morizono (g), Toru Suzuki (g), Akihiro Tanaka (b), Kazuo Shiina (g), Susumu Numahara (tp), Ken Muraoka (sax). Included are the progressive waltz "Black Wings" and the magnificent funky soul "Hot Wind".
