Titled "Toccata," the album features a wide range of toccatas from a variety of eras, from Alessandro Scarlatti to Nino Rota. The album includes Scarlatti's brilliantly technical pieces, Khachaturian's toccatas that sometimes use the harp like a percussion instrument in addition to its oriental sound, Turina's "Toccata and Fugue" arranged for harp by the virtuoso Sabaleta, Hodel's "Toccale" written for Netzer, and many others that explore the instrument's possibilities to the utmost limit.
