In the year 2019, the world of "True Country Japan" exists in an alternate dimension that suddenly appeared in the sky above Japan. In this parallel world that maintains militarism, Japan is invaded by the "Phantom Fog," a gas weapon that disables weapons, and the "Kyan," a giant humanoid weapon. Ten years later, Genkoku Japan is reborn as a vassal state of Makoku. Amidst strict censorship, the once thriving subculture of manga, anime, and idols seems to have completely died out. However, there is a secret society called "Arahabaki" that defies censorship, its main weapon "Garandole," and the girls who power it and fight against it. The story of the Battery Girls, who struggle to protect subculture culture, will begin airing in October 2021! This is an original TV animation by a studio that has produced numerous works and has a splendid staff! Masashi Ando, the creator of "Astra Beyond" and "Gakkou Gurashi! and "Gakko Gurashi!" will direct the film.The series is composed by Makoto Uezu of "Bless This Wonderful World! and "Airborne Dragons"; Akio Watanabe, who has worked on many popular works including "Bakemonogatari", is the character designer; and Keiko Kurosawa, who has worked as the chief animation director on "Astra Beyond", is the character designer! The story of girls defying the world and the magnificent mechanics are vividly depicted on screen! A diverse voice cast adds color to the vivid worldview. Seiichiro Yamashita as Raiden Shuga of "86-ATS-Six" plays the main character and host Kudo Hosomichi, and Seiichiro Yamashita as Rin Akagi, the girl who fights alongside the main character, is voiced by Cure Summer of "Tropical~Ju! PreCure" as Cure Summer; Aina Suzuki as Yossie from "Tease Don't Mess with Me, Nagatoro-san" as Yuki Aoba, an underground idol; and Shiori Izawa as Misa Kuroki, a hacker from "To Aru Kagaku no Railgun T" as Psychological Ruler!Takuatsu Terashima as Akatsuki Shinonome, Hayate Shinjin as Rina Hidaka, Yukiyo Fujii as Musashi Sasagami, and Shino Shimoji as Yakumo, all officers in the Shinchu Army, an organization that is the enemy of Alahabaki!
