Following the highly acclaimed first volume "Harp Recital - Its Various Sounds and Music" (GNY 701), this highly anticipated second volume includes "Sonatas" and "Suites" written by important 20th century composers, as well as "Variations," a masterpiece by Salzedo, a famous harpist and composer. All of these works are deeply explored in terms of the possibilities and artistry of the harp soloist, and are a rich and rewarding listening experience. Britten and Hindemith are masterpieces of the most important repertoire of harp music, and Naoko Yoshino, having had a great deal of experience in performing them, has now taken the plunge and recorded them for the first time.
