Formed in Taipei in 2018, Blueburn takes inspiration from 90's alternative rock and fuses it with elements of Britpop and folk to create a new sound that reflects Taipei today with the theme of "the troubles of modern urban life". Blueburn" is a concept EP that combines elements of folk rock, dream pop, and electronic sounds with a foundation of alternative rock, and the songs on the EP symbolize the three stages one goes through after losing a relationship. Don't Smoke" uses the analogy of quitting smoking to express the feelings of trying to break the attachment you have for someone, but then being repeatedly troubled by your decision to do so.
