Pianist Maria Clementi enjoys playing works by composer Muzio Clementi, who shares the same family name. She was born in Milan, studied under Piero Latarino at the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory, and has won many competitions and attracted much attention. Composer and pianist, apparently not related, Maria feels an attachment that goes beyond mere curiosity, and she plays Clementi's works, which are often underrated, with originality.
