Sarasa’s second album marks a step toward new forms of expression, blending groovy sounds with elements of pop, rock, and folk. The LP version of *GoldenChild*, originally released in 2024, is now available in a long-awaited second pressing on clear lime yellow vinyl. Centered on Sarasa’s signature groove—rooted in soul and R&B—the album features a diverse range of tracks, including “Blessing,” which incorporates elements of pop and rock; “Far Away,” reminiscent of Showa-era folk songs; and “Premonition,” with its pleasantly ethereal melody. Featuring a diverse lineup of producers and musicians—including Kota Matsukawa, Shuta Nishida, and uin—the album reflects Sarasa’s unpretentious mindset, characterized by free-spirited creativity, a unique perspective, and the ability to transform even negative emotions into positive music. Expanding on the expressive range established in her first album, this record captures her current artistic position—one that would lead to her subsequent major-label debut. This popular release, which sold out in pre-orders during its initial pressing, is now being revived on analog vinyl as a Clear Lime Yellow edition.
