Following the first album "Two Steps from the Blues" ODR6022, which was released earlier, the second album released in 1962 is now available on CD. Turn On Your Love Light" was used as a highlight in the movie "Blues Brothers 2000," and "Stormy Monday Blues" moved many fans as a great performance that could have become a standard blues song. This is truly a masterpiece among masterpieces, featuring Brando's signature singing. The bonus track is a track from Bobby's album with Little Junior Parker, "Blues Consolidated" (DUKE-72), which is a must for fans. Brandt passed away on June 23, 2013 at his home in Germantown, near Memphis, at the age of 83. Inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame in 1981, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1992, and the Grammy's Lifetime Achievement Award in 1997, at first glance his reputation would seem to be commensurate with his accomplishments.
