Last year, Joe Barbieri appeared on BS-TBS's popular program "In an Italy You Don't Know", which drew a great response. His latest original album is to be released after two years since his Quiet Jazz Sound album "Dear Billie," which was dedicated to Billie Holiday. As a result of reexamining his life after the Corona Disaster, he has returned from the jazz-focused sound of the past few years to the warm Italian cinema style sound of his former masterpieces "With an Honest Heart," "In a House Like a Dream, With You," and "Quietly, Like Breathing," and the sound is the sweetest thing you will ever hear. The album also features the participation of Pietro Russo (p) and Luca Brugarelli (b), who are both prominent figures in the Italian jazz scene, as well as Fabrizio Bosso (tp) and other guest musicians. Strings and soft woodwinds add color to each piece, as do the prestigious Colli Morenci Orchestra, the Onda Nueve String Quintet, which traverses the chas~classical spectrum, and the Dababuggi Clarinet Quintet, a band of the finest Italian musicians.
