Ten years have passed since the release of their first album "JUNKHEAD" in 2013. PLAY DEAD SEASON, a four-piece band from Tokyo formed in 2006, dropped their long-awaited second album from SAY HELLO TO NEVER RECORDINGS! This is the band's first release in eight years, since their 2015 split with "This Time We Will Not PromiseAnd Forgive". The band's rough, driving rockin' hardcore sound is hard and sharp-edged, as if it were descended from bands like DRIVE LIKE JEHU, HOT SNAKES, JAWBOX, and in Japan, the cowpers. The new member, Otsuka (gt/ex-MOTHER), has joined the band for this album, and the sound has been sublimated into a more PDS-like and drier style, and the album has been finished with a lot of sound! The artwork was done by HYS of ex-200MPH, as on the previous album. The recording engineer is Shohei Kotani, who also worked with Inami on his side project "DON GIGLIO". Mastering was done by TJ Lipple, who has remastered fugazi and many DC works. Just before the release, the band will be going on their second coupling tour with PSWINGSET, an assassin from Texas, U.S.A., for the first time in 10 years.
