Description:

The dreamy shoegaze sound supported by noisy guitars, floating vocals, and a rhythm section with a solid center of gravity. DIIV's third album, which was produced by Sonny Diperri, the engineer of My Bloody Valentine and Nine Inch Nails. After Cole came back from drug treatment, he worked on the album based on Colin's demos. We worked on how to create vocal melodies as if we were creating instrumental music, and by immersing ourselves in songwriting for several months, we were able to communicate a lot within the band and continued to record as one band as each member grew. Then, in between tours with Deafheaven in 2018, the band played new songs live to understand and revise the songs in real time to build the work. Everything is taken apart and then regenerated. The four members have lightly flown back after the birth pains. Their journey has just begun. Only the domestic CD includes a DL code for the Sparklehorse cover song!
