Three pieces from Bach's Suites for Unaccompanied Cello by Swiss cellist Adon Mittal, plus his own compositions. Adon Mittal was born in 1979 in Lucerne, Switzerland, and won second prize in the cello and baroque cello categories at the 14th Bach International Competition in Leipzig in 2004. Since then she has been active in solo, chamber music, and teaching, but has made only a few recordings. This is a very good collection of unaccompanied cello suites, and her cello playing is clear and clear. Mittal's cello has a clear, resonant, and crisp tone, and it is perhaps no coincidence that it somehow evokes the nature of Switzerland.
