This album also includes the early *Bagatelle in A-flat minor, WoO 52*, offering a contrast between Beethoven’s early and late periods. Ray Meng, a Chinese-born professor at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg, brings to life the magnificent world of this masterpiece—often referred to as the “Everest of Variations”—with his advanced technique, rich tone, and meticulous sense of structure.
