Francesca Peach is an enchanting violinist who has been actively releasing works on the Audite label in Germany. This album titled "Fantasque" focuses on French composers and includes violin sonatas by Fauré, Debussy, Ravel, and Poulenc! This recording also features Peach's beautiful tone dripping with lushness, richness, and sensuality. The two performers are Hoss de Solaun, who also performed the Shostakovich and R. Strauss Violin Sonatas on the previous recording. Together with Peach, they play these masterpieces with great skill and emotion. In addition to the excellence of the performances, it is also notable for the high quality of the recording by Audite's owner and tone-meister Lutger Beckenhof. The beauty of the tones of the two instruments, violin and piano, is fully captured in this recording.＜Born in East Germany, Francesca Peach was introduced to the violin by her father at the age of five and made her debut at the Komische Oper Berlin at the age of eleven. She studied with Werner Scholz at the Hans Eisler Music Academy Berlin and with Dorothy DeLay at the Juilliard School in New York. She also studied with Ruggiero Ricci to hone her individuality as a violinist. He has performed as a soloist with orchestras throughout Europe and with conductors such as Antoni Vito, Moshe Atzmon, Julia Jones, Toshiyuki Ueoka, and George Hanson, and was the first concert master of the Wuppertal Symphony Orchestra from 1998 to 2002, As a founding member of the Trio Testore, he has worked on major piano trio works and released the complete Brahms piano trios (AU91668).Later, with Detlef Eisinger, he released the complete Grieg Violin Sonatas (KKC 6139 / AU 97707), Prokofiev Violin Sonatas Nos. 1 & 2, 5 Melodies (KKC 6140 / AU 97722), Frank Violin Sonatas & Szymanowski's Myths ( KKC 5924 / AU 97726). Other releases include Prokofiev's Violin Concertos Nos. 1 & 2 (KKC 6024 / AU 97733), the solo violin works of Bartók, Prokofiev, and Ysaye (KKC 5988 / AU 97758), the violin sonatas of R. Strauss and Shostakovich (KKC 6137 / AU 97759), all of which have received favorable reviews. King International Inc.
