Bakar is an up-and-coming singer/songwriter from North London (Camden, UK) who released a mixtape called Badkid in 2018. His genre-less sound, described as "a melting pot of indie rock, rap, and punk," has garnered attention, and he has also been active on the fashion scene, including being selected as a model for Louis Vuitton. Later signed to the Black Butter label, a joint venture with Sony UK, "Hell N Back" from their 2019 EP "Will You Be My Yellow?" debuted at #1 on US Billboard's Alternative Songs chart, and has been a long-running hit, Their debut album "Nobody's Home" was released in February 2022 to critical acclaim and their first appearance at the Coachella Festival in April 2023.The new album "Halo," their second album in 18 months, includes the single "Alive!" and "Hell N Back" for the first time. The album is full of free sensibilities that are not bound by any category, and it is a work that raises expectations for further progress in the future.
